Open Letter to Total,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I know a relative easy, safe and cheap way for stop the gas leak at the Elgin gas field.

And the good thing is it takes with my solution (design) only a few days and not 6 month.

Blocking the well with „heavy mud“ is only possible with personal on the Elgin platform. The risk is far to high and the chance it stop the gas leak is as you know really low. It failed in the last 4 weeks and also in the gulf of Mexico.

The two drilling relief wells take to long. The risk for an explosion during the next 6 month is nearly 100%. The big flame for burn the waste gas is off, but I am really sure that there is for safety reasons a pilot flame and/or an automatic ignition system. The risk for an thunderstorm during the next few month is also really high. One lightning is enough and the two platforms are gone. A explosion damage than the well head and pipes and increase the leak rate.

Are you interested?

BP ignore in 2010 my help and waste over 20.000.000.000,00 $ how much waste TOTAL if you ignore my ideas?

(Platform ~ 4.000.000.000,00€, 2 relief drills ~ 100.000.000,00€ stopped production xxx, ….)

Last year, I stopped with one of my ideas the nuclear melt down in Fukushima. (email attached)

I proposed on Thursday 17.3.2011 at 1951 the usage of an concrete pump for the cooling of the nuclear power station in Fukushima. A few hours later contact the Japanese Government the German Company Putzmeister and ordered the first pump. I belief you know the rest from the news.

In 2010 I offered several solutions to Deep Water Horizon. (email attached)

I hope Total make not the same mistakes (nonsense) as the “very best engineers” of BP.

I am self employed and work since over 30 years in the chemical and defence industry.

Best Regards
