Elgin gas leak

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The risk for an explosion on the Elgin platform is not reduced. The flare is off, but I am sure that there is for safety reasons a pilot flame and/or an automatic ignition system.

A change in the wind speed or direction is enough and the big bang happened.

It is far to dangerous for send personal on the platform, in case of an explosion is the result fatal.

I found an solution to stop the gas leak in a save way. For this solution is it not needed to send person on the platform.

I know exactly the risk in the Ex zone. I am self employed and work since over 20 years on the chemical and defence industry. My main customer is BAE Systems in Glascoed (Wales).

I try to reach TOTAL since a few days, but Total answered not one of my emails and fax.

In my eyes is it a crime to ignore solutions from outside and risk the live of the workers.

In case of questions call me. I am always prepared to help.

Best Regards
